President Volodymyr Zelenskyy released a video showing Ukrainian strikes on Russian military assets, saying that over the past week Ukrainian forces have hit a Be-200 amphibious aircraft, a vessel carrying ammunition, a Ka-27 helicopter, the “Redut-2US” communications complex, and the “Pantsir-S1” air defense system, among other targets.
He also noted that Ukrainian long-range drones struck Russian oil-related facilities located nearly 1,000 kilometers from the front line.
Zelenskyy described the strikes as a “just response” to Russian attacks and thanked Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel, security service units, and intelligence officers for their operations.
Separately, he said that on May 7 Ukrainian forces struck the Russian naval base in Kaspiysk (Dagestan), damaging a “Karakurt” missile ship capable of launching Kalibr cruise missiles.
