In 2025, SpaceX made a significant leap in the development of its Starlink satellite internet, expanding into more than 35 new markets.

The network now covers 155 countries and is accessible to 3.2 billion people, including those in the most remote regions of the world. This was achieved through over 120 Falcon 9 launches, which added approximately 270 Tbps of capacity, increased download speeds to 200 Mbps, and brought the network's average latency to around 26 ms. The Direct to Cell program enabled millions of users to connect through 27 mobile operators without relying on terrestrial infrastructure. Meanwhile, Starship conducted two test launches of satellite simulators in preparation for deploying the next-generation orbital constellations.

Thanks to these advancements, 4.6 million new users joined Starlink during the year, bringing the total number of people served worldwide to 9.2 million. SpaceX continues to expand the network, promising even higher speeds and new capabilities for users globally.
