Overnight on November 28, Russia attacked Ukraine using one Iskander-M ballistic missile and 72 drones. Ukraine’s air defense managed to shoot down most of the UAVs.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.

According to the military, from 18:00 on November 27 until the morning of November 28, the enemy launched one Iskander-M ballistic missile from temporarily occupied Crimea and 72 attack drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types from the directions of Orel, Bryansk, and Millerovo in Russia. About 50 of them were Shaheds.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s defense forces. As of 09:00, preliminary data indicates that air defense shot down or suppressed 63 enemy drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types in the northern, southern, and eastern parts of the country.

Impacts from the ballistic missile and 9 attack drones were recorded in 5 locations. Debris from intercepted drones fell in 1 additional location.
