Russian drones hit energy facility and homes in Chernihiv region — casualties reported

Russian forces carried out drone strikes in the Chernihiv region. In the town of Mena, the drones hit an energy facility, causing significant damage. A 38-year-old woman was injured and taken to a surgical unit, according to Viacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration.

Additionally, in a village within the Desnianska community, a UAV struck a residential house, completely destroying it along with two cars. Another 38-year-old woman was injured and hospitalized as a result of the attack. Over the past day, 57 explosions were recorded in the Chernihiv region.

Earlier, in Nizhyn, Russian forces struck an agricultural enterprise, damaging fertilizer storage tanks on its premises. In Chernihiv, Shahed drones also targeted a local industrial facility. Fortunately, no casualties were reported there.
