In the early hours of Wednesday, 3 December, Russian troops launched Shahed-type kamikaze drones at an energy facility in the Odesa district, damaging equipment and sparking a fire, regional governor Oleh Kiper said on Telegram.

He said an employee at the site was seriously injured and taken to a hospital. Emergency crews extinguished the fire, and repair teams are working to address the damage.

A day earlier, Russian forces also struck energy infrastructure in the south of Odesa region, leaving parts of the Safianivska community and the city of Izmail without power. Energy company DTEK said supply had been restored to 8,000 customers, while about 36,300 remained without electricity.
