The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine has scheduled a hearing to review the appeal filed by the defense of Andriy Yermak, who is contesting his preventive measure in a corruption-related case.
According to the court, the hearing is set for May 21 at 13:10.
Earlier, on May 14, the High Anti-Corruption Court ordered detention for Yermak with the possibility of release on bail set at 140 million UAH. He was released from pre-trial detention on May 18 after the bail was paid.
Media reports say the bail was contributed by multiple individuals and companies, including law firms, private businesses, and several public figures, among them former football coach Serhiy Rebrov.
The case relates to allegations of large-scale money laundering involving more than 460 million UAH tied to a construction project of luxury houses in the “Dynasty” residential cooperative. Investigators allege the funds were linked to corrupt schemes involving state energy company Energoatom.
Yermak denies wrongdoing, and investigators have stated that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is not a suspect in the case.
