Seized cash and vehicles: National Police of Ukraine carried out over 40 searches of current and former officials of Territorial Recruitment Centers across 16 regions of Ukraine, seizing vehicles, motorcycles, and large sums of money in both national and foreign currencies.

The National Police stated that the Department of Strategic Investigations is conducting measures to expose corruption among TCC officials as part of a broader effort to “systematically cleanse” the recruitment and social support system from abuses and restore public trust.

According to investigators, unlawful enrichment and false declarations worth nearly 92 million hryvnias were already documented. In one case, the head of a district TCC in Odesa allegedly accumulated assets exceeding 45 million hryvnias while in office.

Authorities are reviewing both current and former heads and officers of recruitment departments. A deputy head of a joint TCC allegedly failed to declare assets worth around 10 million hryvnias, while a former recruitment officer did not declare property worth about 6.6 million hryvnias.

During the searches, police seized Tesla cars, motorcycles, cash in different currencies, and various documents, including a contract for a 1 million hryvnia non-repayable financial aid payment. All materials are being examined within ongoing criminal proceedings.

In parallel, investigators have drawn up more than 150 administrative corruption reports related to violations of financial control, conflicts of interest, and restrictions on combining activities.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not yet confirmed whether any formal criminal charges have been filed.
