During December, DTEK’s energy workers restored electricity to more than 5 million households whose homes had been left without power as a result of enemy attacks.

This was reported by DTEK.

The largest number of restorations took place in Odesa region, where the enemy has been actively targeting energy infrastructure. Over the month, power was returned to 1.7 million households there.

In Donetsk region, energy workers managed to restore electricity to 1.6 million families after enemy strikes. Kyiv and Kyiv region also remained constant targets in December, with power restored to 771,000 households in the capital and nearly 400,000 in the surrounding region.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from missile strikes and shelling, especially its southern areas close to the combat zone. In December, DTEK specialists restored electricity to 595,000 households in the region.

For reference, in November DTEK energy workers restored power to more than 3.5 million households across four regions and the city of Kyiv.
