Power restored to 88,000 homes in Kyiv — DTEK

Energy workers have restored electricity supply to 88,000 households in Kyiv’s Desnianskyi district following an overnight Russian attack, Ukraine’s energy company DTEK reported on its official Telegram channel.

“We are working continuously to eliminate the consequences of the shelling,” the city’s energy company said.

After the massive nighttime strike on the capital, engineers restored power and reconnected critical infrastructure facilities. However, the situation in Kyiv’s power system remains difficult, and emergency outages are still in effect.

“Over the past month, the enemy has attacked the capital’s energy facilities four times. We are doing everything possible to ensure that people regain electricity and heat in their homes as soon as possible,” коммунальні services said.

Recovery after Russia’s attack on Kyiv

Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko previously reported that 3,300 apartment buildings remain without heating following the overnight shelling. коммунальні services are actively working to restore essential systems.

Water supply has also been restored to Kyiv’s left-bank districts, although residents on the upper floors of high-rise buildings may still experience water shortages.

Energy workers and utility crews continue efforts to restore electricity, heating, and water supply after the large-scale nighttime attack by Russian forces on critical infrastructure.

As reported earlier, on the night of January 24, Kyiv was attacked with drones and missiles. Damage and destruction to residential and non-residential buildings were recorded in five districts. According to the latest data, one person was killed and at least four others were injured.
