Twenty-eight national teams have now secured their places in the 2026 FIFA World Cup knockout stage, which is being held across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Following the completion of Matchday 3 in Groups A through I, the latest teams to qualify are:
- Mexico
- South Africa
- Switzerland
- Canada
- Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Brazil
- Morocco
- United States
- Australia
- Paraguay
- Germany
- Ivory Coast
- Ecuador
- Spain
- Netherlands
- Cabo Verde
- Senegal
- France
- Norway
They join the teams that had already booked their places before the final group matches:
- Argentina (defending champions)
- Colombia
- Portugal
- England
- Ghana
A total of 32 teams will advance to the knockout stage under the tournament's expanded 48-team format: the top two teams from each of the 12 groups, plus the eight best third-placed teams.

- Germany vs Paraguay
- Netherlands vs Morocco
- France vs Sweden
- USA vs Bosnia and Herzegovina
