Ukrainian national team forward Artem Dovbyk, who also plays for Italian club Roma, has suffered a ruptured tendon in the left rectus femoris muscle and is expected to be out for more than a month, according to Il Tempo.

Dovbyk will miss Roma’s upcoming matches against Cremonese, Midtjylland, and Napoli, as well as Ukraine’s crucial 2026 World Cup qualifiers against France and Iceland.

Roma officials are hopeful he will recover in time for the final matches of the year against Juventus (December 20) and Genoa (December 29).

The 28-year-old forward joined Roma last summer from Girona and has played 14 matches, scoring two goals and providing two assists across all competitions this season.
