Ukraine 2–1 Azerbaijan: Rebrov’s team secure their second win in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers

he Ukrainian national football team is playing against Azerbaijan in their fourth match of the 2026 World Cup qualification campaign.

The game is taking place in Kraków, Poland, at the Cracovia Stadium.

Ukraine: Trubin – Konoplia, Zabarnyi, Matviyenko, Mykolenko – Ocheretko, Yarmolyuk, Malinovskyi – Hutsulyak, Dovbyk, Voloshyn
Azerbaijan: Magomedaliyev – Huseynov, Krivotsyuk, Mustafazade, Badalov, Jafarkuliyev – Bayramov, Khaybulayev, Makhmudov, Nuriyev – Akhundzade.

It is worth noting that after three rounds, the Ukrainian national team sits second in their group with four points, behind France and ahead of Iceland and Azerbaijan. In their previous match, Ukraine claimed an impressive 5–3 victory over Iceland.

Earlier in the qualifiers, Ukraine lost 0–2 to France in the opening game and drew 1–1 with Azerbaijan.
