Ukraine’s Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov confirmed that Russian forces have begun equipping drones with Starlink satellite systems, allowing them to accurately target and rapidly transmit reconnaissance data. He made the remarks during the “Drone Army — 2025” event on Monday evening.

"Today the Russians launched drones with Starlink. We need to respond very quickly. The speed of our reaction, predicting future incidents, and responding to potential threats must ensure that we prevent problems for our people and our military," Fedorov said, according to Interfax-Ukraine.

The minister emphasized the importance of “taking rapid decisions and bringing them to concrete results.”

Earlier, Defense Ministry advisor Serhiy Beskrestnov, known as “Flash”, reported that Russian BM-35 strike drones equipped with Starlink are now capable of reaching Dnipro. He noted that this drone type has a range of up to 500 km.
