Russia launched seven missiles and 90 attack drones against Ukraine overnight on July 18, with air defenses intercepting most of the aerial targets, though several strikes hit their targets, the Ukrainian Air Force said.

The attack included two Iskander-M ballistic missiles, two Oniks anti-ship missiles, three Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles, and 90 Shahed-type attack drones, jet-powered drones, Gerbera, Italmas, Banderol loitering munitions, and Parodiya decoy drones launched from Russia and Russian-occupied territories. Odesa region was the primary target.

As of 9:00 a.m. local time, Ukrainian forces had shot down or electronically suppressed one Kh-59/69 missile and 69 drones across northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.

The Air Force reported missile impacts and 19 drone strikes at 19 locations, while debris from intercepted targets fell at five sites. It added that the attack was still ongoing, with several Russian drones remaining in Ukrainian airspace.
