Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) said they shot down a Russian Mi-8 helicopter over Russia's Belgorod region, according to USF Commander Robert "Madyar" Brovdi, who also released footage of the strike.

According to Brovdi, the helicopter was brought down at around 10:00 a.m. near the village of Vyazovoye.

Earlier, Ukraine also reported destroying a Russian Su-35 multirole fighter jet in eastern Ukraine. The Su-35 is an advanced version of the Su-27, capable of carrying long- and medium-range air-to-air missiles as well as a wide range of precision-guided air-to-ground weapons.
