Vitkoff called the talks in Miami “constructive” and confirmed a meeting with Putin on December 2

Following the U.S.–Ukraine delegation meeting in Miami, Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Vitkoff described the talks as positive. The meeting took place as part of bilateral consultations on current security and diplomatic issues.

Planned trip to Moscow
Vitkoff confirmed that he will travel to Moscow on December 1 and plans to hold talks with Putin on December 2.

“The negotiations with the Ukrainian delegation were constructive, I assess them positively. Tomorrow I am heading to Moscow to discuss key issues with Putin,” Vitkoff said.

Talks in Miami
According to The Wall Street Journal, citing a senior U.S. official, the delegations in Florida discussed potential timelines for elections in Ukraine as well as the possibility of territorial arrangements with Russia.

Earlier, it was reported that NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov and the Ukrainian delegation were already en route to the United States.

On Sunday, November 30, representatives of the U.S. and Ukraine are holding a meeting in Florida to continue discussions on a possible agreement to end Russia’s war against Ukraine.

Axios previously wrote that the U.S. seeks agreements on two key issues: territory and security guarantees.

Reports later confirmed that the talks in Miami had officially begun.
