In the Norwegian capital, Oslo, an explosion occurred near the U.S. embassy building in the night of March 8, local police reported, citing Agence France-Presse (AFP) and Bloomberg.
The blast took place around 1 a.m. local time in the district housing the American diplomatic mission, which is already protected under enhanced security protocols.
Eyewitnesses reported a loud explosion, after which dozens of police, firefighters, and emergency medical crews arrived within minutes.
