More than UAH 33 million was transferred for Yuliia Tymoshenko by a group of donors that includes acting politicians, business figures linked to the “Yanukovych family orbit,” and individuals involved in high-profile anti-corruption investigations.

The full amount of bail set for Batkivshchyna party leader Yuliia Tymoshenko, who is suspected of offering bribes to members of parliament, was paid by nine individuals. According to Ukrainska Pravda, citing sources in law-enforcement agencies, the core financial contributor was Batkivshchyna MP Kostiantyn Bondariev, along with a wider circle of donors closely connected to his business and political environment.

Journalists identified all participants in the financial operation, including both public figures and representatives of specific business circles:

Kostiantyn Bondariev (UAH 5 million) — current MP from Batkivshchyna.

Yevhen Zykov (UAH 4.38 million) — former head of the Mariupol Boxing Federation and ex-assistant to Bondariev.

Olena Bondarenko (UAH 3.85 million) — a regular donor to Batkivshchyna who actively financed the party throughout 2025.

Liliia Zykova (UAH 3.22 million) — an individual entrepreneur from Vyshhorod who previously worked for Altana Investment Management, a company linked to Oleksandr Yanukovych.

Oleksii Pieshyi (UAH 2.075 million) — a representative of a developer family from Irpin, фигурant in investigations into alleged land schemes involving the Bilichanskyi Forest. According to Bihus.Info, he is also known for transferring an apartment to Deputy Head of the President’s Office Oleh Tatarov in exchange for support in a business dispute.

Vladyslav Repeshko (UAH 199,000) — an entrepreneur from Dnipro.

Mykhailo Puiо (UAH 726,000) — a businessman from the Khust district, linked to the former leadership of Batkivshchyna’s Zakarpattia branch.

On 14 January, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) announced that Tymoshenko had been formally notified of suspicion. Investigators allege she offered bribes to MPs from other factions in exchange for favorable voting on specific draft laws. According to the case materials, she proposed monthly payments of “ten thousand” to members of the Servant of the People faction for two plenary sittings. Tymoshenko has dismissed the investigation as a political purge aimed at eliminating competitors.

On 16 January, the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) imposed a preventive measure in the form of bail amounting to UAH 33 million. Tymoshenko has stated that she intends to appeal the court’s decision.
