Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 134 strike drones from six directions overnight on October 31. Ukrainian air defenses shot down or suppressed most of them, but impacts were recorded at multiple locations.
According to Ukraine’s Air Force, the attack involved Shahed drones, including 72 jet-powered models, Gerbera drones and decoy drones of the Parodiya type.
The drones were launched from several locations in Russia — Oryol, Kursk, Shatalovo and Millerovo — as well as from occupied Donetsk and Hvardiiske in Russian-occupied Crimea.
As of 8:30 a.m., Ukrainian air defenses had shot down or suppressed 105 enemy drones, including 49 jet-powered Shaheds, along with Gerbera and other types of unmanned aerial vehicles.
Russian drones struck targets at 20 locations, while debris from intercepted drones fell at 10 locations.
The attack followed a series of Russian drone strikes on a critical infrastructure facility in Kyiv on the evening of October 30. Three impacts were reported at the site. Power outages caused water pressure to drop across the capital, leaving some districts without water.
