The Ukrainian delegation and residents evacuated from Russian-occupied Oleshky in the Kherson region are travelling to the Russian city of Anapa.
David Arakhamia, head of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction, announced the move on Telegram.
“The Ukrainian delegation, together with the evacuated residents of Oleshky, has departed for Anapa,” he said.
Arakhamia added that they would fly from Anapa to Belarus and then travel home by bus.
On October 27, a ceasefire was declared near Russian-occupied Oleshky to allow a humanitarian operation to take place.
The operation includes delivering aid to civilians and arranging the evacuation of residents. The ceasefire is scheduled to remain in effect until 10:59 p.m. on November 1.
Earlier, Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets said that the routes needed for the humanitarian convoy and the evacuation had been cleared of mines.
On Friday morning, Arakhamia announced that the Ukrainian delegation had reached Oleshky. The evacuation of residents and distribution of humanitarian aid then began.
