The clarification was provided by the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
Ukrainians continue to receive pensions and other social benefits. Certain citizens are entitled to a pension supplement under the Law of Ukraine «On Pensions for Special Merits to Ukraine». The Main Directorate of the Pension Fund in the Odesa region explained the amount of this payment.
How the supplement is calculated
According to the Pension Fund, the supplement amounts are approved by Order No. 2054 of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine dated December 27, 2017.
The supplement is calculated as a percentage of the subsistence minimum established for persons who have lost working capacity (except for those specified in paragraph 7 of Article 1 of the Law).
Under the Law of Ukraine «On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2026», the subsistence minimum for this category in 2026 is set at 2,595 UAH.
From January 1, 2026, the Pension Fund automatically recalculated pensions for special merits.

Mothers who gave birth to and raised 10 or more children to the age of six

Mothers of 8 children
37% (960.15 UAH):

Separate fixed payment
Individuals recognized as fighters for Ukraine’s independence in the 20th century and rehabilitated as victims of political repression (including imprisonment or unlawful psychiatric confinement for political or religious reasons) receive a fixed supplement of 5,055.77 UAH.
Family members’ entitlement
If a person entitled to this supplement dies, disabled family members specified in Article 36 of the Law on Mandatory State Pension Insurance are eligible for:
70% of the deceased person’s supplement (if one dependent),
90% (if two or more dependents),
calculated from the supplement received or that could have been granted to the deceased breadwinner.
