Iranian media outlets claim that energy infrastructure in the cities of Isfahan and Khorramshahr was damaged in reported attacks attributed to the United States and Israel.
According to reports cited by Anadolu Agency and the Fars news agency, gas facilities were affected, including:
- a gas distribution control building in Isfahan
- a pressure reduction station
- a section of a gas pipeline in Khorramshahr
Authorities stated that no casualties were reported.
Reported impact
In Isfahan, damage was reported to gas management infrastructure and nearby buildings. In Khorramshahr, a missile reportedly struck near a gas pipeline, though electricity supply in the area remained stable, and no major disruptions were confirmed.
Context of conflicting narratives
The reports come amid ongoing contradictory statements surrounding US–Iran contacts and regional escalation claims.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump stated that Washington and Tehran had conducted recent negotiations and suggested a possible agreement, while Iranian officials have repeatedly denied that formal talks are taking place.
The situation remains unverified by independent sources, and neither the United States nor Israel has confirmed involvement in the alleged strikes.
