Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that a meeting in the United States is scheduled for Saturday, March 21, as part of the negotiation process. He said Ukrainian representatives are already on their way to the U.S.

"There was a pause in negotiations, and it’s time to end it. We are doing everything to ensure the talks are truly meaningful. The Ukrainian team – the political part of the negotiation group – is already en route, and we expect a meeting in the United States this Saturday," Zelenskyy said in his evening address.

He added that he had detailed discussions about the talks with Rustem Umerov, Kyrylo Budanov, and Davyd Arakhamia. Serhiy Kyslytsya will also participate in the meetings.

"Our priority is to do everything possible to achieve a dignified peace," the president emphasized.

Zelenskyy also announced upcoming agreements with countries in the Middle East following a visit there by Rustem Umerov in his role related to the National Security and Defense Council.

"There are specific ways they can support our country and our defense – primarily air defense – and there are areas where we can support them as well, and already do. Ukrainian expert groups for protection against ‘Shahed’ drones are already working in these countries, with daily reports on their missions," Zelenskyy concluded.
