Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has postponed his trip to Davos and remains in Kyiv following Russia’s overnight mass strike, Axios journalist Barak Ravid reported on X, citing a Ukrainian official.

According to Ravid, Zelensky could still travel to the World Economic Forum if a bilateral meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump is scheduled to sign an agreement on Ukraine’s reconstruction. Neither Zelensky nor the President’s Office has officially commented.

The World Economic Forum opened in Davos on January 19 and runs through January 23, bringing together around 3,000 participants from more than 130 countries. Ukraine is represented by a high-level delegation, with discussions focusing on geopolitics, artificial intelligence, and Ukraine’s recovery.

Ukrainian officials have said dialogue with the United States will continue in Davos. Media reports previously suggested Zelensky and Trump could sign a $800 billion, 10-year postwar reconstruction agreement on the sidelines of the forum.
