Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers has appointed former Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko as the country’s representative to the US-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund.
The decision was formalized in Cabinet Order No. 1116, dated October 23.
The government revoked the appointment of the previous representative, Yehor Perelyhin, a former deputy minister of economy and environment, and delegated Svyrydenko to the fund instead.
Svyrydenko currently serves as vice president for business education development at the Kyiv School of Economics.
About the fund
The US-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund was established under an agreement between Ukraine and the United States on cooperation in natural resources. Its purpose is to attract investment in Ukrainian projects and support the country’s economic recovery.
In September 2025, the two countries moved toward launching the fund, and in October they announced an initial list of potential projects in critical minerals, energy and infrastructure.
On October 2, the fund approved its largest investment package to date, covering projects in energy, critical minerals and dual-use technologies.
