Elina Svitolina reached the semifinals of a WTA tournament in Germany.

Elina Svitolina advanced to the semifinals of the WTA 500 tournament in Stuttgart after defeating Linda Noskova 7–6, 7–5 in the quarterfinal.

The match lasted 1 hour and 42 minutes. In the semifinals, Svitolina will face the winner of the match between Karolina Muchova and Coco Gauff. This will be her fifth semifinal appearance in 2026.

The 31-year-old Ukrainian is a former world No. 3 and the most successful tennis player in Ukraine’s history, with 19 WTA singles titles. She also won a bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics, marking Ukraine’s first-ever Olympic medal in tennis.
