Occupiers used a large number of ballistic missiles in today’s attack
During the night of Tuesday, January 20, Russian forces launched 339 kamikaze drones of various types and 34 missiles at Ukraine, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The attack included one Zircon anti-ship missile, 15 Kh-101 cruise missiles, and 18 Iskander-M ballistic missiles. The launches were carried out from temporarily occupied Donetsk and Crimea, as well as from Bryansk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk, Shatalovo and Millerovo.
Thanks to the coordinated work of aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems and mobile fire groups, Ukrainian forces destroyed 342 aerial targets, including:
- 315 Shahed, Gerbera and other types of drones;
- 14 Iskander-M / S-300 missiles;
- 13 Kh-101 cruise missiles.
At the same time, 24 drones and five missiles hit targets at 11 locations, while debris from intercepted drones fell at another 12 sites. The military said information regarding two missiles is still being clarified.
