Authorities have revealed new details about the explosion at an ATB supermarket in Chernihiv on Sunday, March 22.
According to Chernihiv City Military Administration head Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, an unidentified object exploded inside the store on Liotna Street in the afternoon.
Four people were injured in the blast and taken to hospital. Emergency services are currently working at the scene.
Ukraine’s National Police of Ukraine said the explosion occurred while air defenses were repelling a Russian kamikaze drone attack on the regional center.
Additional incidents were reported across the region. Chernihiv Regional Military Administration head Viacheslav Chaus said a strike drone hit near a private house on the outskirts of the city.
In the Koriukivka district, kamikaze drones struck an agricultural enterprise, killing one cow. No civilian casualties or injuries were reported in those incidents.
