Russian forces carried out a mass drone attack on western and central Ukraine on Tuesday, March 24, targeting cities including Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, and Rivne region.
In Ivano-Frankivsk, a “Shahed” drone struck the central part of the city. According to Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military Administration head Svitlana Onyshchuk, two people were killed and four others were injured, including a six-year-old child.
The strike damaged around ten residential buildings, as well as both the city and regional maternity hospitals. Emergency services and law enforcement are working at the scene.
In Lviv, drone strikes damaged residential buildings in two districts and the Bernardine Monastery complex, leaving 13 people injured. There were also reported hits on critical infrastructure in the Lviv region.
