Ukraine was subjected to another Russian drone attack overnight on September 3, with strikes reported in Kyiv and Odesa regions as well as several western regions.

Kyiv region

Kyiv region came under another attack involving Russian jet-powered drones. The Ukrainian Air Force repeatedly warned overnight about incoming enemy targets.

Explosions were reported in Boryspil district, where one man was injured and hospitalized, according to Kyiv Regional Military Administration head Tymur Tkachenko.

Warehouse facilities, a shop and an administrative building were damaged in the attack.

Ternopil and the region

Ternopil region was also targeted overnight. Residents heard explosions around midnight as Russian Shahed drones approached the area, prompting air-defense operations.

Regional military administration head Taras Pastukh said there were initially no reports of casualties or damage. A fire was reported in areas of dry vegetation, although its cause was still being investigated.

At around 6:26 a.m., another group of strike drones approached Ternopil. Ukrainian air defenses destroyed both targets before they reached the regional capital.

“Both aerial targets were destroyed. The danger has passed. You can leave the shelters. Thanks to the effective work of air defense, strikes on the region and the city were avoided,” Pastukh said.

Khmelnytskyi and the region

Khmelnytskyi region also came under attack by Russian strike drones, with air-defense forces operating in the area.

A fire covering approximately 200 square meters broke out at warehouse facilities belonging to an enterprise in the region. Emergency crews localized the blaze.

The State Emergency Service reported that one man, a vehicle driver, suffered shrapnel wounds in Khmelnytskyi.

Odesa and the region

Odesa was also targeted overnight.

The attack injured 17 people, including three children.

The State Emergency Service said apartments on the 10th through 17th floors of a 21-story residential building were damaged. Fortunately, no fire broke out in the building.
