Russian forces attacked Odesa on the morning of September 4, killing one person and injuring three others, Head of the Odesa City Military Administration Serhii Lysak said.

“Three people are currently known to have been injured. They are receiving the necessary medical assistance,” Lysak reported initially.

He later confirmed that one person had been killed.

Residential buildings and vehicles were damaged in one of the city’s districts. Emergency services are working at the scene, examining the area and documenting the consequences of the attack.

An operational headquarters is also being deployed to provide assistance to residents affected by the strike.

Earlier, a Russian attack on Odesa damaged a 21-story residential building, injuring 17 people, including three children. Apartments on the 10th through 17th floors and several vehicles were damaged.

On August 27, Russian forces also launched a more than seven-hour missile and drone attack on Odesa region, targeting civilian infrastructure.
